About Strata
Hanington Estates is comprised of three strata – Strata Plan 6033, 6034, and 6035. Two representatives from each strata form the council of Hanington Creek Estates. This Strata is bare land strata which means the corporation maintains the common assets: roads, septic treatment plants, road drains, and common green space areas.
Water services are completely separate from the strata and managed by a separate corporation.
The largest expenditure in Hanington is our septic system, and the second expenditure to note is our property and road management. All homeowners are encouraged to review the by-laws and disclosure statement (these documents will have been provided on the purchase of your home).
